Nice hotel with its excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a lovely bar area. On my first stay, the staff recommended a local taxi, so helpful. I appreciate the friendly service! I'll be back for Xmas.

The location was magnificent and best possible for exploring this pretty nice area, adjacent to the castle and all the Fringe festival venues, pubs, the center. The breakfast selection was satisfactory with flaky croissants. A perfect and luxury hotel, my first choice in Edinburgh.
Wi-Fi was rather slow, made me a little nervous.

All in all! The super comfortable bed! The wonderful cushions, I would have taken it all home! The unbeatable situation, we hired two tours with "Viajando por Escocia" (I also recommend them! I give them a 10) are about 100 meters from the hotel, so perfect everything. All the staff of the hotel very nice and helpful, I want to highlight Pablo at the reception, we had a small problem with a plug and he went out of his way to solve it and this was full of work, he also advised us on the most interesting places to visit etc, Francisco at breakfast, also helpful, very nice and friendly! also two girls from the bar, another Spanish girl and another one with long non-Spanish hair ( sorry I can't remember their names) also charming. I highlight some names but in general I approve of all of them. The first day because of the time we arrived we ate at the Hotel, very good! But I would like to recommend The Mitre pub, right in front of the hotel, they eat great, the soups of the day are very good, and also, very good price, from Friday to Sunday night they had live music.

Unsurpassed location in the heart of the Royal Mile ; ideal if you are a tourist. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms with updated decoration. There is a possibility of changing pillows which always comes in handy. The breakfast staff is efficient and extra orders (free of charge) are dealt with diligently. They had a welcome detail with us, which is very much appreciated. No doubt to repeat even if the price is a bit high.
Even without altering my positive impression, for commenting on non-fundamental details, I don't like the fact that the bathroom only has a bath, it is too high for access; I think (it will be a question of age) that the bathrooms could use an upgrade. floor is carpet, typical one in the UK and I don't like it very much (nothing to object to cleaning it). To cover the bed they have duvet; with which they have put sweat at night, if you uncover you get cold. In the room that touched us in a 4th floor we heard the noise of a pub-disco located in the street (it's not the hotel's fault, Scots are noisy). Without being high season, price we pay is high for the same level of hotel and city e. g. in Spain. breakfast is worthy and attention excellent, variety is not the same as a hotel of that price in Spain. request we made by email to the Concierge a week before our stay was not answered, although later on site they resolved everything with diligence and kindness. above... details and hobbies of each one but an excellent overall impression.

hotel is very well located. At the very epicentre of the action in Edinburgh. Full old town. So, next to everything. Steps away from the train station, steps away from the Castle, Palace, Hop on Hop off bus stops and best restaurants. very good breakfast at a reasonable price. I absolutely recommend it.
The shower needs to be maintained. The water was coming out of the faucet, which meant low water pressure. I didn't have a bathrobe or slippers to get up in. Which are very hygienic when the rooms are carpeted and a 4 star hotel should offer them. The windows are not enough to isolate the noise of the pubs from the surroundings. You can hear them well into the night, although not so loud, but loud enough to prevent you from falling asleep. If you are very tired or fall asleep before they start then you will have no problem.

The Radisson Blu Hotel in Edinburgh is excellent and is located on the Royal Mille, in an unbeatable location. I liked the staff. They were the most attentive and professional of all my stay in the UK. It was a pleasure to stay there. I recommend it.
I didn't like the relationship, quality/price. The price of this hotel is superlatively expensive, it costs more than double that of any other similar hotel in the whole of the UK. I have to admit that I stayed there in the middle of the season, during the FRINGE holidays, anyway the price was exaggeratedly expensive. The Radisson Blu Hotel has only one problem: ...the mattresses are very unpleasant, they are soft and they stick in the middle. A hotel like the Radisson Blu should have excellent mattresses, considering the very expensive price I paid to stay there. This mattress problem is not unique to the Radisson Blu. All hotels in the UK have terrible mattresses. I spent 30 days holiday in the UK in 10 different hotels and they all had lousy mattresses. Someone should get this information and solve this important problem. A tourist, he spends 8 hours a day sleeping on a mattress. It is horrible to wake up with your whole body aching from sleeping all twisted up because of the lousy quality of the mattresses. Subject to be corrected quickly.
